Twelve-plus years of it began as an award-winning freelance web designer, then as an entrepreneur and digital marketer. What I build now sits further up the stack: products that carry some intelligence of their own, software that acts rather than waits, and the automation that ties those together into something a business can actually run on. I've worked remotely with clients across 21+ countries, evolving from web design and digital marketing into AI, software architecture, intelligent systems and digital innovation. The route matters: starting in marketing means I think about who a system is for before I think about how it is built, which is not the default instinct for someone who came up purely through engineering. ## What I work on AI, agentic systems, intelligent software, automation, digital products, software architecture, digital ecosystems, technology strategy and marketing innovation. The thread through all of it: from ideas to intelligence, from software to systems, from automation to autonomy. ## What changed along the way Early on I over-animated everything. Every appearance had a stagger, every card had a hover lift, every route change had a wipe. It photographed beautifully and it was exhausting to use. What I learned from watching people on real sessions is that motion earns its place when it answers a question the user already has: did that save, is this the same list I was looking at, has anything moved. Motion that answers nothing is just latency with a curve on it. I also stopped believing in the redesign as a unit of work. Products rarely fail because they look dated. They fail in small specific places: a form that loses your input, a list that reorders under your finger, a loading state that lies about progress. Fixing six of those is usually worth more than a new visual language, and costs less. ## What I'm looking for Briefs where the interface is the product rather than a wrapper around it, teams who treat performance as a design constraint, and enough access to real data that I'm not building against an imaginary happy path. ## Key facts - Role: AI-Native Digital Architect - Also: Technology & marketing strategist - Experience: 12+ years, 21+ countries - Working: Remote, worldwide ## Detail - Discipline: AI / intelligent systems - Base: Remote, worldwide - Availability: Q4 2026 - Contact: contact@hire-web-dev.com ## Topics INTERFACE ENGINEERING, REALTIME GRAPHICS, MOTION DESIGN, PERFORMANCE ## Image ![Figure facing a polished chrome sphere held in orbital rings, illustrating work between design and engineering](https://www.hire-web-dev.com/assets/img/design-engineering-chrome-sphere-orbital-rings.jpg)
